Hiwot Solomon, born and raised in small town Ethiopia, brought her love of traditional Ethiopian food and culture to Denver, Colorado. She is the owner of HiRa Café and Pastry chef.

 

She started small but dreamt big in making HiRa the best Ethiopian all day breakfast place in which she was able to accomplish in 4 years. HiRa cafe has been voted the best cafe by 5280 magazine in 2021. As a foreigner from small country, she was able to succeed through pandemic and continue deliver a delicious food and coffee.
